Memorandum of Understanding with DSWD
The signing of Memorandum Of Understanding between Paglaum Multi-Purpose Cooperative and Department of Social Welfare & Development (DSWD) under its Self-Employment Assistance - Kaunlaran (SEA-K) Program, October 02, 2012, 10:00 am @ 2/F PMPC New Building, Eastern Looc, Plaridel Misamis Occidental was participated by 11 Project Dev't Officers from DSWD-X Province of Misamis Occidental and the Board of Directors of PMPC with Key Managers. This partnership aims to contribute to poverty alleviation through empowerment of the disadvantage individuals to improve their quality of life and strengthen the economic capacity of the Pantawid Pamilya beneficiaries by linking them to business development service providers, local markets and employment opportunities. Its purpose is to implement the Sustainable Livelihood Program that will enable poor families to participate in the local economy as micro-entrepreneurs.
